How do you perform a COVID-19 rapid antigen test?
The rapid antigen test is performed on a nasopharyngeal swab and is used to to screen for the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) coronavirus.
Although less sensitive and specific that PCR, these tests have the advantage of providing a result within 30 minutes.
The CNS does not cover the cost of this test.

How is a COVID-19 serological test performed?
The serological test detects the presence in the blood of anti-SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) antibodies produced by the immune system. This can be useful in certain situations:
- As a help in diagnosing an acute infection
- To detect a past infection and provide evidence of contact with the virus
- To follow up on the vaccination and know the antibody level
The price of the COVID-19 serological test is 29€ (analysis 22.72€ and blood sample 6.28€):
- If you do not have a prescription
- If you have a prescription containing only the serological test.
The price for the COVID-19 serological test is 22.72€ if you have a prescription containing several blood tests.
