ARTBIONEXT: art comes to BIONEXT laboratories

ARTBIONEXT

Discover how art, history and Luxembourg’s identity come together through ARTBIONEXT.
This unique initiative was born from a collaboration between the BIONEXT laboratory and Luxembourgish artist Jacques Schneider.
The project invites patients, visitors and residents alike to (re)discover Luxembourg through original artworks exhibited directly inside BIONEXT laboratories.

4 centres involved… more coming soon

Since October 2025, several BIONEXT laboratories have been hosting creations by Luxembourgish artist Jacques Schneider.

The first four participating locations are:

More centres will follow in the coming months.

Artworks, QR codes and a dedicated website to (re)discover the country

To share their stories and immerse visitors in a cultural journey, each artwork is accompanied by explanatory texts:
- An introduction written by Jacques Schneider, explaining why certain places or traditions were chosen;
- A historical fact or local anecdote to learn more about each site.

This content is available online at bionext.lu/en/artbionext

To enhance the experience, a QR Code is also displayed next to each artwork in the BIONEXT centres.

In addition, a dedicated website — artbionext.lu — brings together the full collection of artworks created by Jacques Schneider for BIONEXT.

An artistic journey across Luxembourg

ARTBIONEXT is more than just an exhibition — it’s a genuine artistic journey.

Visitors are invited to explore multiple BIONEXT centres to see all the artworks and enjoy a rich cultural experience.

An exclusive mural, displayed at Jacques Schneider’s gallery in Berchem, completes the journey and symbolises the heart of this collaboration.
