From December 1st to 6th, 2025, BIONEXT and Boehringer Ingelheim announce the launch of the Health Check Week – Diabetes, Heart & Kidneys.
This innovative screening campaign is organized for the first time in Luxembourg, in 8 BIONEXT laboratories throughout the country.
The objective? Early detection of major preventable chronic diseases: diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and kidney diseases.
These conditions often remain silent for a long time, frequently leading to delayed diagnosis and a lack of preventive measures that could slow the progression of the disease.
The concept
During Health Check Week – Diabetes, Heart & Kidneys, targeted and free screening will enable early detection of chronic diseases.
To do so, BIONEXT, in partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim, will perform blood and urine analyses to calculate personalised risk scores.
Based on these results, patients may be guided towards appropriate follow-up if necessary.

WHEN?
Health Check Week – Diabetes, Heart & Kidneys – runs from Monday 01/12/2025 to Saturday 06/12/2025.
WHO?
This screening is open to everyone, residents and cross-border commuters.
HOW?
Screening is possible:
● without appointment
● free of charge
● without a medical prescription.
To save time, using the MYLAB PATIENT app is recommended, with or without an account.
The app is available via our website, on the AppStore or Google Play. It provides secure online access to test results.

Results will be communicated via MYLAB.
A physician’s communication is required to participate in this campaign.
They will thus have access to their patient’s screening results.
