BIONEXT WASSERBILLIG GARE
7, Grand-Rue
L-6630 Wasserbillig

The artist Jacques Schneider invites you to dive back into his childhood memories in Wasserbillig, the place where the waters of the Moselle and the Sûre meet.
He recalls peaceful Sundays spent by the river: swans and ducks gliding gently over the water, silent fishermen lined up along the bank, and families strolling slowly, enjoying the calm flow of the current.
Nearby, the Wasserbillig Aquarium already awakened his childhood curiosity — a fascinating underwater world, full of colours and movement, where he learned to observe the beauty of life.
Finally, he invites you to (re)discover the Saint Martin Church of Wasserbillig, an emblematic religious building whose origins date back to the Middle Ages.
Saint Martin Church
Did you know that in Wasserbillig, the parish church has not always stood where it stands today?
Once located at the confluence of the Sûre and the Moselle, it was rebuilt on higher ground to escape flooding.
Its high altar, brought by boat from Bernkastel, still bears witness to that journey from another time.
Under the benevolent gaze of Saint Martin and Saint Nicholas, the church preserves the peaceful memory of a village between two rivers.
