ARTBIONEXT - When art meets health
The Luxembourg medical analysis laboratory BIONEXT joins forces with artist Jacques Schneider for a unique artistic and cultural initiative: ARTBIONEXT.
Launched in October 2025, ARTBIONEXT aims to (re)introduce Luxembourg to patients and visitors of BIONEXT centres.
On this page, you can discover this one-of-a-kind project — a journey through the country’s history and diversity!

A collaboration born from a shared commitment to Luxembourg
ARTBIONEXT is a shared vision — to promote Luxembourg’s heritage through art.
For BIONEXT, a healthcare provider deeply rooted in the country, it was only natural to contribute to the promotion of Luxembourg beyond its core laboratory activity.
The initiative is led by Dr Jean-Luc Dourson, Director of BIONEXT:
“Through a series of artworks displayed across our collection centres, this project invites citizens, residents and cross-border visitors to (re)discover Luxembourg’s cities from a new perspective — one that blends identity, history, and contemporary creation.”
The collaboration between Jacques Schneider, a committed Luxembourgish artist, and BIONEXT continues a long-standing partnership.
The artist has previously worked with the laboratory, notably by creating the official portraits of the Grand Ducal couple displayed in BIONEXT centres.
As part of ARTBIONEXT, a large mural featuring the project’s artworks can also be admired at Jacques Schneider’s gallery in Berchem.

Artworks displayed in BIONEXT centres
Gradually, BIONEXT centres will host original works by Jacques Schneider, each representing the city in which the centre is located.
To share their stories and invite patients and visitors on a cultural journey, each piece will be accompanied by a short explanatory text.
As new installations are unveiled, we will share more details about each artwork here.

Follow an artistic journey across Luxembourg
More than just an exhibition, ARTBIONEXT offers a true artistic journey across the country.
We invite you to visit our various centres to discover all the artworks — and to explore different cities through the eyes of an artist.
Enjoy your visit!
