European Testing Week: the free screening week for sexually transmitted infections (STI)
As part of our commitment to sexual health and prevention, BIONEXT participates in European Testing Week.
What is European Testing Week?
European Testing Week is a European awareness campaign.
It aims to promote early testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
It brings together hundreds of organizations across Europe (including BIONEXT) to improve access to testing and raise awareness of the benefits of early diagnosis.
How is it organized in Luxembourg?
Regular testing is a key pillar in the fight against the spread of STIs.
To facilitate access to this essential preventive measure, BIONEXT participates in European Testing Week twice a year:
- in May
- in November.
During these special weeks, testing for the main STIs (HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea) is available to everyone.
These tests are free of charge, without an appointment, and without a prescription.
European Testing Week in practice
In 2025, European Testing Week will be organized twice a year.
- in May
- in November
Testing takes place:
- free of charge
- without a prescription
- without an appointment
- in all our centers and via our LABOMOBILES at specified locations and times.
Testing can be anonymous if you wish, but we recommend using our standard procedure.
This ensures the security of your data and facilitates the delivery of your results (via MYLAB).
If you wish to use the anonymous procedure, you will need to pick up your results on site in Leudelange.
Pre-register to save time
We recommend that you pre-register via the CHECK-IN PRESCRIPTION on MYLAB.
It is available:
- via our website
- via the App Store (for Apple devices)
- via Google Play (for Android devices)
On the day of your test, simply photograph the "European Testing Week" poster displayed at the center or LABOMOBILE.
This photo will be used during the "Prescription" step.
